Is it just me, or are these signs popping up everywhere?

I had seen it first at the corner store at 10th and Reed in San Jose. This one is at the liquor store at Great America Parkway and Mission College Blvd in Santa Clara. I think I remember seeing one at the corner store near my house and another at another store in downtown San Jose.
I appreciate the sentiment. But it's a little odd that they seem to be popping up now, as if some root store decided to put one up and now the others have to follow suit.
Well, whatever. I buy my Diet Cokes (my personal addiction) at the bagel store next door. Sorry.
